After Quitting Smoking

after quitting smoking
What can I do to help my lungs after quitting smoking?

i haven’t smoked tobacco for almost a year and a half now after smoking for 15 years, (from age 13) i was a pack a day smoker. what can I do now to help my lungs heal?
I have been exercising for the entire time, i have lost about 55 pounds since quitting smoking.

Interestingly I started smoking when I was 13 too (started on my 13th birthday) and smoked for 17 years before I quit. I used the “Self Awareness Method To Quit”, anyhow, let me tell you this –

FACT: It takes upto 10 years after you quit smoking to reduce your risk of lung cancer in to half.

SOLUTION: You can detoxify your lungs naturally (thank God). There are several exercises, vitamins and procedures that help you clean your system.

Breathing Exercises like inhaling all that you can, then holding it there for a few seconds and exhaling out as far as you could go is a great lung exercise. It makes your lung expand completely, and then contract. This will help loosen the grip of tar and eventually make it come up as cough (though it takes a week or so for you to see the first trace of tar coming out). You need to do this exercise for 10 minutes (or whatever comfortable) as many times as convenient and comfortable.

Other treatments and procedures include Kapalbhati Yoga exercise, Neti (using a Neti Pot) etc. All this information can be found on the site in the source
