Tips Quitting Chewing Tobacco
Why is it hard to stop the snuff dipping snuff?
my friend is trying to stop chewing or dipping snuff after 8 months to do so. She asked me why it is so hard to quit like trying to quit smoking cigarettes. She kind of reminds me of a hillbilly woman who dresses like a boy. So my friend wants to know do you have any advice on how slowly away from him with no desire for it?
Nicotine is the reason behind it. It is said that quitting smoking or chewing is even more difficult after quitting 'cocaine'. Honestly do not know if this works for chew / dip snuff, but it has helped in the process of quitting. start limit for the limit to start cutting on it. If there is a routine for chewing (Like after eating or first thing in the morning, .. etc), try to break those habits. Early in the morning, brush your teeth, use mouthwash mouth then drink a full glass of grapefruit juice. This would literally send the palate in 'shock'. Rubber band around your wrist, begin to pressure that whenever there is a desire. Chew gum or sunflower seeds. Keep something going to break the real / physical / addition. To chew, I recommend seed sunflower, due to the fact that we are still spitting out something. Support groups! There are many support groups (yes, free) out there that you can subscribe to computer (e-mail mail) or even the phone itself. It is always important to have support. Going to be tough, that is, no doubt, but with enough support and will, it can happen. Good luck to your friend!
